The Director of Communications and Administration is responsible for keeping you, the homeowner, informed of SOA projects and general activity. Many avenues are used to do this, such as:

This website – covers the functions of each department and the SOA’s role, as well as Board Minutes, meeting dates, Committee activity etc. It is updated regularly in order to provide the latest information.

Newsletter SOAR - a monthly publication created solely by the SOA staff.

Blast Emails – done weekly and when necessary to allow time sensitive information to be distributed immediately. If you would like to sign up to receive these emails, please email soa@soaowners.com or sign up when registering on this site.

The Communications Committee meets as needed to discuss the many avenues of communications currently in use and strives to improve communications where needed. The Committee is also responsible for reviewing and formatting the owner directory, which is published every other year. The next publication will be done in 2011.  An on-line Owner Directory is also available by registrering on this website from the home page.  

In addition, the Customer Service Desk reports to the Communications Department.  The Customer Service Desk responsibilities include issuing vehicle access decals for homeowners, employees, contractors, etc., registering golf carts, managing the storage parking lot, assisting new owners, and addressing a variety of other issues and needs of our customers. The office hours are Monday-Friday from 8-5. 

Owner Vehicle Decals
Electronic Access Decals (RFID) are now being issued to repalce the teal owner decals.  The teal decals will be valid until the end of 2011.  Each owner may recieve 2 RFID's free and purchase up to 3 more.  In order to receive an RFID, please bring your vehicle registration/tag receipt into the office as they may only be issued to vehicles that are registered to the property owner. If you have family members that visit often, you may register them as permanent guests on the Guest Registration Website.

Golf Cart Decals
All golf carts that are operated on the roadways are required to be registered with the SOA. In order to register your cart, please bring proof of insurance and the cart to the SOA office.  If you are purchasing a new Golf Cart, please be sure to read the Golf Cart Policy in order to ensure it complys with the requirements for registration.  

 Remote Controls
Owners may purchase a remote control for the East Gate (by AppleBees) from the Customer Service Office to be used when driving their golf cart or if in a vehicle without an RFID. The remotes are $37 each and can be paid for by cash, check, or credit card. There is a one year replacment warranty on the remotes should it malfunction within the first year from the date of purchase. You must have your receipt in order for the warranty to be honored.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get a key for my mailbox?

If you recently purchased, you should have received a mailbox key with your house/unit keys. If this did not occur, you may check with your neighborhood association manager or contact the local post office at (850) 269-1186.

Why can't all owners access the pool at Finz or other amenities?

The SOA does not own or operate the amenities such as the tennis center, the golf courses, the pool at Finz,, etc. These amenities are owned and managed by Sandestin Investments, LLC and require club membership. For information on club membership, please contact the Owners Club office at (850) 267-8208.

How do I get a vehicle decal for a new car?

Contact the SOA Customer Service at (850) 424-5950 or stop by during business hours.
Monday-Friday 8:00 - 5:00. You will need to provide your vehicle registration in order to recieve the new RFID Electronic Access Decal.

How can I upgrade my services with Cox Communications?
